The Arkansas State Lodge Fraternal Order of Police (FOP) is proud to offer student scholarships to eligible children of FOP members. Scholarships will be awarded to beginning freshmen and other existing college students continuing their education. The number and amount of scholarships awarded will depend on funds available each year. Scholarships may be used at any institution of higher education to defray expenses directly related to academics, to include: tuition, books, fees, and room & board.
To be eligible for a scholarship, both the parent of the applicant and their respective Lodge must be members in good standing with the Fraternal Order of Police.
There are two applications. One is labeled “Scholarship Application for Beginning Students”, and the other is labeled “Scholarship Application for Existing Students”. Please make sure the correct application is used.
PLEASE FOLLOW ALL INSTRUCTIONS! FAILURE TO DO SO WILL RESULT IN DISQUALIFICATION! All applications that do not meet eligibility and requirements, or comply with all instructions, will be rejected. You will NOT receive any notice requesting corrections or additional information for the initial application. If, for any reason, you are unable to comply, you MUST contact the Scholarship Committee Chairman with an explanation, or to request an exemption / extension.
Applications (and accompanying documents) must be postmarked by April 1, 2025, and mailed to: ARFOP P.O. Box 2123 Little Rock, AR 72203. The outside envelope must be marked “Beginning Application” or “Existing Application”, whichever applies.
